My total hip replacement surgery was June 8, 2023 after years suffering from a riding accident. I'd been trying to make do injecting CINGAL shots and they worked well enough until the back log from C19 had prevented my ability to have time in the hospital for more. Dr. Lee had moved to the US and Dr. Christopher Day was the new Orthopedic Surgeon taking his place. From my first appointment to discuss what I should do to eradicate the pain in my hip, he was ready to help. My surgery as he stated was 'text book'. I went with a spinal block and never felt or was aware of a thing until I woke up. Fantastic caring Surgeon, fantastic nursing support. I'm walking unaided 2 months post op and readying myself by means of physical therapy to ride my horse again. At 72, my equestrian life has been given more years in the saddle! Thank you Doctor Day, you are such a great Surgeon.

You can feel confident having Dr. Day as your Surgeon. He is down to earth, personable and thorough at answering all your question and making you feel confident about the procedure! His staff are warm, friendly and caring. If you have concerns or worries about your surgical incision, his staff will promptly fit you in with Dr. Day, to be sure your incision is healing as expected and ease your mind, even though he is a very busy Man. Patient care seems to be a priority, which is hard to find these days. Great staff and the best top notch Ortho around!

Dr. Day fixed my fractured ankle July 26, 2024. From the time I met him and through all follow-ups to date, he's been great! I'm one of those patients that ask a ton of questions, am a big chicken when it comes to pain, and he answered everything patiently, respected my concerns and made me laugh while doing it. I also watched him deal with other patients, including a young boy with the same respect and humour. Sincerely appreciated everything Dr. Day did for me and hopefully won't need him again anytime soon, haha. I also want to mention that his office receptionist is FANTASTIC!!!

After 7 years of pain and many doctors I was referred to Dr Day.
He was the only one that suggested to remove the hardware that was put in my leg after I broke my hip. Now I can walk with out a cane. I am stable on my feet and no longer get shooting pains that make my leg give out. Thank you Dr. Day. -
Dr. Day is a tremendous surgeon and we're lucky to have him here in Abbotsford. He's honest and straightforward. He doesn't mince words and I appreciate that level of candor.
He answered all my questions accurately and his recovery expectations have been equally accurate.
Though I hope I never need to replace another joint, if I did I would unquestionably go back to Dr. Day
